What does this all mean?? What slot do I sign up for? Keep reading!
Players are encouraged to self-evaluate their skill level, competitive level and overall reasons for playing the game we all love. Players will now signup for one of the following slots based on those reasons.
Recreational Slot - This slot is more for beginners to average players OR players who want to play socially. Examples: These can be players who are not that worried about the score, they are out there to have fun and get good exercise. These players are willing to help others learn the game and continue to learn & develop their skills.
Competitive Slot - This slot is more for average to advanced players. Examples: These can be players who are not just playing pickleball to socialize but they want an emphasis on competitive gameplay. This slot is for players who want to WIN but are willing to do it by giving it their all and with good sportsmanship.
Once a month clinic offered for both new and current players. New players, learn the rules, dynamics and skills of the game in a controlled setting with experienced pickleball players. Experienced players can use this time to practice and improve shots, serves, dinking, etc.
